This is a "potato-chip" sampler taken from a number of Sissel's concerts. It is intended merely to showcase a few of her different "faces", and to whet your appetite for MORE. The URL for the full version is listed where available. Sissel is around 47- 49 in all of these songs except for: "Du Är Den Ende" where she is 36, "Anna Lovinda" where she is 37, "Sahara's Song" where she is 42, "Fever" where she is 45, and "Summer is Short" and "Christmas Tree Farm" where she is 56 years old.

(1.) -- Opening Screen - "Sissel's Dream" (in her AI voice)
(2.) -- "You Are the Only One" - https://youtu.be/YFVVeiL7haY?si=sgx16siPAAckA42I From her CD album, "Nordisk Vinternatt"
(3.) -- "Anna Lovinda" - https://youtu.be/j1n4w6xET5I?si=f-kwP--cs6eQsQuZ With Åge Aleksandersen and Bjørn Eidsvåg - Norway, TV2, "Spellemann"
(4.) -- "Sahara's Song" - https://youtu.be/cmwKMby51q4?si=2vUUPLq1BsDDqOCd Appearing in a platinum-colored gown. Sissel wrote this for her youngest daughter shortly after her birth. It is a song from the daughter to the mother.
(5.) -- Nights in White Satan and Fever - https://youtu.be/yJLmt_GzsC8?si=JWX-dw1UvPesoovy Presented live at the ancient theater of Herodes Atticus in Athens, in 2014 **** WAIT !! Is this Sissel or Marilyn Monroe ???
(6.) -- "Koppangen" - https://youtu.be/ieBSVLeMPmU?si=3nGPHvX7sGqDp952 The title itself refers to an actual place in Sweden. The etymology denotes a meadow. The lyrics evoke a serene winter night scene during the Christmas season. It ideally showcases her pure, crystalline, soprano voice.
(7.) -- "O Lord, Protect My Child" - https://youtu.be/5JU6_GAZy8s?si=AKpsP9HDDfYvdhNR a "prayer" song written by Bob Dylan in 1971. A tribute to her remarkable genre and stylistic versatility.
(8.) -- "Imagine" - https://youtu.be/LgN2LCeEWas?si=ySI06fbdI-_HBjDT a big hit by the Beetles in the 1970's
(9.) -- "I Wish I Had a River" - https://youtu.be/scr8rWtfONA?si=s7atWm5CeHDqLIWB written by Joni Mitchell in 1971. It is perhaps one of her greatest hits.
(10.) -- This is just a funny dance with Sissel and three of her fellow singers having FUN
(11.) -- "O Happy Days" - https://youtu.be/VgBBqHU6rWs?si=zjDUAWraVyPm0ZkQ featuring Sissel and the other three from the previous dance
(12.) -- Here is Sissel playing the comedian, as she introduces the next song. As she has matured, she often adds the character of "Standup comedian" to her performance.
(13.) -- "There is a Rose in Bethlehem" -- A beautiful song
(14.) -- "Hold My Heart - Hold My Soul" -- https://youtu.be/ebYbkHsihoQ?si=1s-yj7Z_2oKezZej A VERY "soulful" Swedish love song which Sissel is here singing in Swedish. I think that the emotion and expression that Sissel puts into this song is quite compelling and remarkable.
(15.) -- "Sommaren är kort (Summer is Short)" -- https://youtu.be/6khISRjSWho?si=6PQVJdkXkDBMYNeQ again, a Swedish song. The lyrics are VERY simple, basically about enjoying the beautiful summer days before they are gone. However (to ME), the catchy tune coupled with Sissel's charisma, energy, joy and voice makes it overwhelmingly mesmerizing. I just want to listen to it over and over again !! If you watch very many of Sissel's videos, you will note that HERE is a genuine human being and not some "narcissistic diva". She goes from the most cosmopolitan, glamorous, sophisticated and urbane look and setting to - as she appears here - barefoot and clad in just a simple gown.
(16.) -- "Christmas Tree Farn" -- https://youtu.be/2UkuQ9l7Zw8?si=jMY_AE4AjLb26mDa Lyrics by Taylor Swift -- Directed and produced by Taylor Swift - 2019
